At the current age of twenty one, Trey Calloway is already a seasoned singer, musician and songwriter. Trey’s singing career began at the age of four at the local church where he realized people would clap when he sang. He began playing the guitar and writing songs at the age of thirteen and fronted his first band at the age of sixteen.
His musical style is mostly country, with a healthy dose of good ole southern rock and blues. Trey counts his main influences as a great mix of contemporary and old school – counting Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks among his favorites, all the way to the current music of artists like Jason Aldean and Eric Church.
Trey is a local North Carolina boy, born in Charlotte and raised in Cornelius. He can now be found around the area playing acoustic sets with his guitar player and friend, Andrew Russell as well as full band gigs with the addition of a drummer and bass player.
With the love and support of his friends and family, Trey continues to write music and chase his dream. If you ask Trey why he’s chosen such a difficult business to break into, he’ll tell you that it wasn’t a choice; music is in his blood and it’s all he’s ever wanted to do.
